Café Kaapi was developed as a complete hospitality experience, combining interior design, construction, branding and content creation under one coordinated direction.

The design responds to the social nature of the café, creating an inviting environment where people can meet, relax and spend time together. A pool table forms one of the central social elements, giving the interior an informal and engaging character beyond the conventional café setting.

The spatial language combines industrial minimalism with tropical warmth. Natural materials, layered textures and intimate lighting create an atmosphere that feels relaxed, tactile and approachable. Rather than relying on decoration alone, the design uses material contrast, lighting and carefully considered spatial planning to shape the experience of the space.

Excello’s involvement extended beyond the physical interior. The project included the development of the café’s visual identity and content, ensuring that the brand experience remained consistent across the built environment and its public communications.

This joined-up approach allowed the interior, construction details, branding and content to work together as one recognisable customer experience. Every element was considered in relation to how visitors would arrive, gather, interact and remember the space.
